Besides Internet Governance do you focus on another sub topic? While all modules are framed within Internet Governance and its intersection with International Relations, the course places a strong and explicit emphasis on digital trade and digital economic integration. After covering the foundational aspects of Internet Governance—such as institutions, actors, and multistakeholder processes—the program delves into specialized modules on international relations, regimes, international economic relations in the digital sphere, cybersecurity, among others.

In particular, the course addresses digital trade integration, digital commercial policy, and the incorporation of digital disciplines in international trade agreements, including cross-border data flows, e-commerce, digital identity, and emerging digital economic instruments. This approach reflects the growing relevance of Internet Governance for trade policy, foreign policy, and international negotiations, positioning digital trade as a central pillar of the curriculum rather than a peripheral topic.

Is your school associated with or co-located with any other event or process? Organizer of the School (University of Chile – Institute of International Studies) is an IGF Chile Board Member (recognized by the UN IGF Secretariat) as representative of the Academia sector.
